Akuma wa gakkō ni arimashita. There was a demon in the school. That was the local rumor, anyway. Of course, no one necessarily believed it. After all, the abandoned wing of the school was certainly good fuel for superstition and ghost stories. The school administration was stuck in limbo when deciding whether to tear it down or renovate it. As they waited to make a decision, the building deteriorated with time and was vandalized with each delinquent gathering that it hosted. Yahiko found the state of things rather embarrassing and truly wondered whether he should invest into it himself... but that was besides the point.

No, instead of making plans to renovate it with some of his recently deceased father's funds, the young man was on a mission today: to finally dispel the rumors. Apparently, his lab partner was shaken up by something she'd seen there during a game of truth or dare. She described it as a demon with glowing 'yellow eyes' who enticed her into one of the abandoned classrooms with 'beautiful bubbles'. The demon then apparently lunged at her. She'd managed to quickly turn around and escape its attempt, slamming the door shut behind her as mournful cries echoed throughout the graffiti covered hallways. Traumatized by the spooky event, she refused to come back and do their presentation with him until someone got to the bottom of the mystery.

Yahiro, of course, was entirely capable of doing the presentation himself. But he found that an hour of roaming the hallways and discovering this demon was actually just a cat or some little kid playing a prank was much easier than spending the entire night studying and writing notes that she had refused to share with him. He certainly found it distasteful that she would break the unspoken laws of being a lab partner like that. They had both assigned each other their own tasks and promised to present them as part of a whole, after all. It seemed rather ridiculous to him that she was allowing such a foolish thing as superstition to get in the way of her grade. Then again, she wasn't the brightest bulb.

Regardless, Yahiro made a beeline for the abandoned wing right after school, not even bothering to stop for his customary can of coffee. Opening the rusty gate then proceeding towards the entrance of the five-story building, he paused to reach into his backpack and produce the flashlight he had placed in there this morning. He sighed, zipping his bag back up and slinging it on his back again. He certainly was not excited to waste time like this, but he flicked his flashlight on anyway and shone it forward at the dim hallways ahead. Just before advancing, however...

Kazai Yamashita

AND THEN THE sun came crashing in
Kazai had really been making a name for herself recently. Of course, she'd always had a name, but now it was being dragged through the mud and she didn't even seem to care. No one had expected the death of her father to hit her so hard, not even her. The two of them didn't see each other as much nor as often as an ordinary father-daughter team, especially considering she was the heiress to his company. But now, she really didn't care about anything. She'd spend her weekends passed out drunk and her weekdays with uncharacteristic promiscuity just to have something to do when she was outside of the house. It was a curious question, how many of the boys in Yahiro's class had she slept with already? She'd lost count, but maybe Yahiro knew.

She didn't want a boyfriend. She didn't want her company. The only thing she did want was for the pain to go away and nothing quite seemed to work. It was amazing that she could keep up with her school work, but that was likely more a testament to how well-trained she was. Going to school and doing homework was a matter of motion. It came easy for her so she would do it first thing in the morning, drone through every miserable, friendless day at her private school, and then distract herself in the afternoon by hanging out with the delinquents at this public school where her brother happened to go to.

This Friday was no different. Kazai was passed out on the floor of the ruined building.

Her blouse was loose pulled up leaving her bra exposed and there were other disorganizations which made it not so much a mystery what she'd been doing before she went to sleep. However, the question was where had the boys she was with gone off to? It was relatively empty here. The disheveled girl snored loudly, unaware and uncaring of that which was around her. But in due time she was sure to be found lying in one of the dusty old classrooms.

He looked over his shoulder, having had the eerie feeling of a presence nearby, but found... nothing. Huh. Shaking that feeling off, Yahiro advanced into the dark and disorderly building with flashlight in hand. The state of things here was even worse than he had imagined. The rusted lockers at the entrance were riddled with what appeared to be knife carvings and stabs. There were cracked open holes in the ground and walls, and the graffiti was even more vulgar than the young man had been expecting.

This was most definitely the worst school he had ever attended. And proof that the young people in Japan were in a sorry state. It was, quite frankly, dishonorable. But that wouldn't matter to him as soon as he got accepted into the private and prestigious school he had applied for prior. He only needed to spend a year here, suffering superstitious lab partners and disrespectful delinquents. Then he could transfer to an institution of knowledge that could actually challenge him, hopefully. He wasn't in the rat race for his father's affection anymore, of course. He hadn't been in a while. But the Yamashita family still needed one of its heirs to uphold the name honorably until the other got her act together finally.

Meanwhile, the demon of the school was hopping its way straight towards the snores of said older sister. It had scared off some boys in the abandoned outdoor patio area earlier. Strangely, they had been sucking on small white tubes that produced ash. He had watched them do so for minutes without being noticed. They spoke rather unflatteringly about a girl named Kazai, then one of them noticed his yellow eyes and panicked. When the others saw, they panicked as well and ran off. The demon, actually the baby Digimon known as Botamon, had emerged from the shadows then and decided to look for this girl they had abandoned.

user posted image

After picking up the sound of her incessant snoring, of course, it wasn't necessarily hard to find her afterwards. The Botamon peeked inside the classroom first, seeing her splayed out at the corner of the room with empty bottles and a half-empty pack of those white tubes that made ash. Cautiously, he then bounced his way into the room and approached the disheveled girl. She was pretty. He could say that much. And, though the blush wasn't apparent beneath his black fuzz, his eyes were bright with love. He neared her snoring face and sniffed before backing away.

The feeling in his literal gut told him this wasn't the person he was looking for, but he didn't want to believe it! How couldn't she be, such a pretty girl? Digimon didn't believe in coincidence. This one didn't, anyway. So there had to be a reason this was the first human Botamon felt so intimate with! Snickering lustfully to itself, it suddenly hopped onto her, gently bouncing on top of her and shamelessly kneading her chest with its soft body. Heaven was a place on earth! "Buruburuuuu~!" The cute but despicable pervert sing-sang to itself as it continued to try and stir her awake in its inappropriate manner. If she awoke, it would bury itself in her cleavage and offer the cutest 'puppy dog look'.

AND THEN THE sun came crashing in
Sure, Kazai was drunk and that was nothing new, but even she wasn't so inebriated that she was locked in her slumber.. or maybe she'd already been asleep long enough for it to have worn off a bit. Probably not, but maybe. In any case, she could feel something soft making itself known in her bosom. The situation wasn't completely foreign, but there was a noticeable dearth of body heat in the vicinity. Nonetheless, the girl found no reason to even open her eyes.

"Stop it, Hideyo-kun," The girl fanned away at her chest to smack away whatever it was that she imagined Hideyoshi was using to toy with her."

It was nice that Kazai didn't get hangovers. She could get drunk every day if she wanted to without consequences and live life in drunken stupor void of responsibilities. But even with that, she liked to feel as though she had control over her life, and being touched by someone who had no explicit permission wasn't something she would tolerate, even from a friend whom she'd slept with only hours ago.

The readjusted her position and pulled down her top so that it would fully cover her chest before rolling over to now sleeping on her side.

"Ugh... spoon if you must but let me get some god-damned sleep.."

Isn't it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?
The first smack didn't knock the Botamon off of her bosom. The second and third, however, proved to be too much. Which is was quite fortunate for the young girl, as the Botamon was in the midst of attempting to latch onto the neck of her top with his mouth. As it was, he was sent tumbling off between her dainty legs in a light spray of bubbles. Which would have been just fine. Just when he realized where he'd ended up and started to cozy up, however, she sleepily turned onto her side and scissored her legs onto him.

Ack! F-For a petite girl... she has some strong legs!

The little pervert thought as he was being suffocated by the vice-grip of her forelegs. Now, Botamon knew he was into some kinky stuff, but this was not one of them. Desperately, he squirmed and wiggled his way out of her legs before he tumbled out and gasped for breath. That was when he heard her sigh, offering him the chance to 'spoon' her. Spoon? Botamon didn't know the meaning of the word. Literally. But he giggled mischievously as he imagined what it could mean. Just before he could try out a few things, however, he heard footsteps approaching. Alerted and feeling a shiver for some reason, the indecent Botamon scampered off under the shadow of the dilapidated teacher's desk.

Yahiro heard a rather strange noise coming from one of the classrooms down the hallway. What sounded like the scratchy low growl of a rusty lawnmower engine might have actually been... giggling. Not one to let his imagination run wild, however, the young man simply pointed his flashlight in the direction of the classroom door and stepped forward towards it. Each deliberate step he made caused the old floorboards to creak. He dreaded the thought of having to ask for help should he fall through a pit without a means to escape. Once his hand was on the door handle, he released the breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. Architectural dangers were real. Spirits weren't.

After a brief hesitation, he slid the door open, finding nothing but the typical Japanese high school class room at first. But, as he scanned the area with his flashlight, he suddenly came across a sight that brought as much nausea to him as it did dismay: his unkempt older sister, Kazai, sleeping in the corner surrounded by bottles and burnt out cigarettes. He deeply sighed, the kind of sigh one made when their friend said something incredibly stupid in their presence. He took that moment to rub the temples of his forehead with a single hand, shaking his head. He loved his sister, but this was just... disappointing. And he knew exactly what the cause of it was. Although, quite frankly, he didn't think said 'cause' was worth this kind of grieving. It was one thing to bring shame to the Yamashita name... but to oneself in such a manner? It hurt him almost as much as their father's untimely death.

Setting his flashlight on the girl, he walked over to her sleeping form and knelt down, tenderly picking up a crusty old cigarette that was a little too close to her face before flicking it away. The smell of booze and cigarettes alone was enough to wrinkle his nose in disgust. He didn't even want to imagine what he'd find in the flea ridden trash bin on the other side of the classroom. Finding the natural light of the room to be sufficient enough to see each other, the young man switched his flashlight off and gently poked her bare shoulder with it. "Aye, Princess Aurora. Wake up." He said plainly, referencing the childhood story known as 'Sleeping Beauty' that their mother used to read to them as kids. "You'd think our places would be switched..." He muttered under his breath in yet another sigh. For an older sister, lately he'd been feeling more like her older brother than anything.

AND THEN THE sun came crashing in
Aurora wasn't so far off. After all, Kazai was the proclaimed princess of the company known as Zony. She would inherit the company once she was of age and/or finished with her education. However, whether or not college was up for her future was still up in the air. Right now, she wasn't thinking of anything. She didn't care to take her role in Zony, and in fact she wanted to leave all of her inheritance to her brother. Yahiro knew this. He had to. And once her responsibilities were passed on, Kazai would have been happy to die in a ditch somewhere drowning in a puddle of alcohol. It would have been such a classy way to die. The last thing she needed was for Zony to be left in her hands, especially when her little brother was so much more competent in every way.

Speaking of the devil...

Kazai felt that poking at her shoulder. Her initial thought was that it was either some kind of a toy or a male's extra appendage, maybe entreating her for a candy shop treatment? In any case, Kazai was happy she held her tongue in more ways than one because she did recognize that voice. Yahiro. Slowly she opened her eyes to see him, wondering what the hell business a goody-two shoes like him would have in a place like this. In fact, she instantly began to worry as she feared he was becoming some sort of delinquent. For the sake of double standards, she couldn't judge him for it now, but if he didn't have a good reason she would berate him for his behavior later.

But despite being so awake, her body felt so limp and dead that she could barely turn around. She was so tired that she hardly cared what was happening in the outside world, even if she was awake. Some would say it was a bad idea for a "lady" to be so disgraceful in a place such as this, but Kazai hardly considered herself to be a lady these days. Whatever happened happened, and the world could burn around her, so long as Yahiro was safe. He was the last important human in her life, even if she was completely ignoring him right now. Kazai rolled onto her opposite side, facing away from Yahiro. And in only a matter of seconds she had managed to fall asleep again.

Yahiro sighed when she simply rolled away from his direction. "Very well, then."

Rising from his kneel and straightening in posture, the male heir to the Yamashita fortune began to ponder whether he should really go through the effort of carrying her out of this dump himself. Perhaps letting her awaken in such a mess all alone would be a rich learning experience for her. Or, maybe, it would simply send her spiraling even further into the pit of disgrace and despair she was in. Regardless, anything that could happen to her if he consciously left her unattended would weigh too heavily on his mind. And he certainly didn't need that.

Then, suddenly, a sound. Something had bumped the bottom of the desk at the front of the dilapidated classroom. The spectacled young man slowly withdrew his flashlight and switched it on. A small mouse suddenly scurried out from beneath the desk just as Yahiro swerved his cone of light in its direction. But he was too clever to believe that a creature that size could have bumped the desk that hard to create a sound so loud. No, it had to be something else. A raccoon, maybe? He squinted his eyes and stared at the desk. He refused to believe ghosts actually existed.

AND THEN THE sun came crashing in
Drunk and unsightly were just two ways to describe the young heiress of the Yamashita family. But she had no shame in rolling away from her brother and going back into her slumber. Exactly how drunk was she? Well, probably not so much as one would have expected. Her body was also becoming more accustomed to higher quantities of drinks. She continued to snore loudly and even graced her brother with a roaring belch.

Simply no shame.

However, the sudden noise in the nearby room did cause Kazai to stir a bit more. It wasn't sudden, but she began to wake up, a pounding headache as she did so. She sat up only to see her brother standing next to her when she opened her eyes.

"Ugh..." she said, head pounding. "What happened to Hideyo-kun?"

She looked around, apparently shocked to see no one except for her brother. Had he chased everyone else away?

"What time is it?""

"...Buu.."

The tiny voice whispered as quietly as it could, which became hard when it realized it was almost growling. From the depths of darkness where it hid, it stared at a mirror image of itself in deep, entranced annoyance. His doppleganger had caused them the chance to escape, ruining their camouflage almost entirely by excitedly bumping into their hidding spot. If they got out of this with all their limbs attached - a likely scenario given their form - he would have to scold the other thoroughly. Again.

* * *

Meanwhile, two figures made their way down the creepy, ill-lit hallways of this abandoned school. One hummed a tune softly to itself while the other moved without making a sound. That is.. A sound from its mouth, as its body made very unnerving and unnatural clacking and clicking noises the more it moved. The two wandered down the halls for sometime before the smell of late night pleasure, drugs, and perspiration filled the area. The closer they got to a room, the more the smell increased, follow by the sweet smell of a well groomed form.

Bingo.

The two figures came up to the door and then took a few steps back. Ramming themselves through it entirely with no regard for any expenses that could and would be paid for the damage, they came barrelling through while only one voice spoke.

"Get out! Get out of my home! Get outtttt!"

The female voice screeched. Observant eyes could see a girl clad in a black skirt, a beige jacket and red ribbon at the front. The girl had long black hair, easily almost touching the floor with little effort. However that was too the observant eyes, since attached to the girl's front was a manikin with a detailed face with scars, faux blonde hair and torn clothing, all the cloth and the "skin" of the manikin stained by what appeared to be blood. The arms of the manikin were taped to the arms of the girl, and the legs to the legs in a similar fashion. Clearly this was made to be a prank, but it was a convincing one at that.

The first Botamon (the older one, as it loved to insist) ignored the sharp look it had received from its twin. It had attempted to peek out from the desk at his new girlfriend with the strong legs, but got nervous and pulled back quickly when the human boy turned, accidentally hitting their creaky old hiding spot. It shut its eyes as if it could rewind and stop itself from making the mistake, staying completely still. A part of its round black body, unbeknownst to it, was exposed at the edge of the desk. But it didn't move. Didn't even breath as it waited to hear the human take a footstep or say something.

| | |

Yahiro had narrowed his eyes at the dilapidated desk. Focused them on what he perceived to be a shadow that appeared to be all too... corporeal. Just before he could stare at it a little longer and continue to see if it moved, however, the walking train wreck that was his beloved sister roused awake. And, of course, the first thing she asked about concerned the whereabouts of her scummy classmate. "In a jail cell where he belongs, hopefully." Yahiro replied nonchalantly.

He turned back towards the desk and straightened in posture, rising from his crouched position as she continued to ask what time it was. "It's about four o' clock in the afternoon. We're just not getting any sunlight in here." He explained, not bothering to turn back to look at her. As he tried to refocus on the strange looking 'shadow' by the desk, however, the door to the classroom suddenly came crashing in. As collected and calm as Yahiro usually was, even he flinched and swung his flashlight frantically in the direction of the abrupt intrusion. But the initial shock quickly faded.

His flashlight locked on the weird girl, Yahiro squinted his eyes incredulously. "C... Cousin Yuma?"

| | |

The loud crash definitely managed to startle the older Botamon, sending it leaping towards its brother and face first into the complete cover of the desk. But, upon recomposing itself and rolling its body back, the pervy Digimon suddenly realized it had smooshed its countenance on more dust than it had anticipated. Inches away from its twin, it sucked in sharp breaths of air as a loud sneeze began to charge in its nostrils. It knew what it was about to do was going to be bad... but it couldn't stop itself! The sneeze was coming!

On the flip side, Kazai didn't flinch even for a moment. That squealing voice she recognized well as that of her cousin, Yuma. It was very unlikely that Yuma would ever be able to shake up Kazai after the experiences she had gone through in the Digital World. That stuff was actually scary and had likely dulled her senses to initial shocks. Then again, it could have been the alcohol slowing her senses all the same. In any case, if she had been scared of anything it would have been for the safety of her brother, but at this moment she had no fear for that either.

Instead, she found herself mulling over her brother's snark comment. He could really be a jerk sometimes. All she wanted was a straight answer about her friend's whereabouts, and instead Yahiro had to be a complete ass about it. Completely ignoring Yuma, Kazai squinted skeptically at her brother.

"Why would he be in prison? Y'know, it's kind of a jerk move to wish that on anyone," she berated him. Yuma, on the other hand, was a special snowflake who could not be berated any more than she could be scary. There was no reason to be scared of any human, and so far as Kazai knew there were no Digimon in Japan aside from Hawkmon. Granted, did know of Digimon in America, her ex-boyfriend had one, after all. But that was so far away.

The Botamon twin almost yelped when its twin had made such a ruckus thanks to the loud bang. If it were to be honest though, he was sure he had pooped himself too, leaving a small swirly pink pile nearby where he sat. It was absolutely unfortunate and he would definitely be made fun of later about this, but right now they had to keep themselves hidden. Because humans were scary. It was then that the small Botamon noticed it's twin was about to blow the very cover they had. He looked like he was going to sneeze! Without thinking, the 'younger' Botamon leapt forward and tackled his brother, utilizing a little more force than he had planned to, and knocked the both of them out of their hiding hole. He had only wanted to shut him up before it was too late, but now it seemed like things would become unraveled.

* * *

"Oh.. It's only you two."

Yuma said matter of factly. The inheritors of a gaming company, the Prince and Princess of Japan's central entertainment corporation - Kazai and Yahiro. If the young girl had the capacity to be surprised she certainly would be, but she was left with nothing but disappointment.

These two, as cute and handsome as they were, didn't have a single entertainment bone in their body. Ironic given the future they were to inherit.. supposedly. One had resorted to drunkardness and being a total slut - as she heard from her male friends - and the other was a stick in the mud found in the middle of a swamp in some island no human had ever set foot on. Despite her ruined prank, the long haired girl did not shed her manikin disguise.

"What in the gods' green earth are you two doing here? You.. You aren't sleeping together too, are you..!?"

She said in mock disgust and abandon. She of all people would not fault cousins being.. Well, closer than intended, but there was a time and a place for that! And it certainly wasn't supposed to be in an abandoned building.

Speaking of abandon, she had left all thoughts of the two leave her head when she heard two soft items land and roll across the floor. One of Yuma's brows merely bent as she slowly turned around in hopes of seeing a real ghost. With what light Yahiro was pointing in her general direction she was able to see two small black blobs, eerie yellow eyes peering up into the air as they lay on the floor.

"Ohoho! I see we've stumbled upon the remains of two demon spirits that have been exorcised effortlessly. Pray tell, small demons, do you serve a master?"

Yahiro hardly cared to look completely over his shoulder at his sister after the remark she had made. Sure, he cared about her deeply. But the disappointment he felt right now was still raw. His eyes narrowed in their typically uncaring expression. He replied with a tone that was just as unconcerned. "Jail. Not prison. Although I'm sure he'll end up there eventually if he keeps up with the underage drinking, drug use, and various other misdemeanors. Not to mention violating Tokyo's Youth Protection Law."

But he didn't care to keep berating his sister. Instead, he felt like berating Yuma instead. Who, as typical, seemed to be on one of her bizarre and senseless escapades.

Her costume was stupid. And the suggestion she made, even if she was only joking, was even more senseless. Before he could issue a sharp remark, however, two distinct round figures came rolling out from behind the desk he'd had his flashlight trained on earlier. The cone of light was, needless to say, immediately turned in their direction. And what Yahiro saw next was certainly... baffling. Two round creatures, each with the appearance of a ball of mochi, froze like deer in headlights. Their round yellow eyes grew wide what the youth perceived to be shock. Certainly more than he felt himself.

If anything, Yuma's casual regard for the strange creatures made the whole situation seem pretty mundane. Still, Yahiro had questions. They certainly weren't like any other known animal on Earth. And, although their existence alone breached the boundary of what was possible and what wasn't, he didn't have enough faith to believe they were demons in a religious sense. But they did, in fact, exist. So they had to be something, and have had come from somewhere.

| | |

The (older) Botamon blinked confusedly when the other girl regarded him and his brother as 'demons'. When the illumination coming from the boy's light stick let it see the girl better, though, that confusion was replaced with infatuation. From what he could see past the weird disguise she wore... boy, she was pretty! A lot like his (ex) girlfriend with the strong legs! Were they related? He definitely had a thing for sisters... "Buuuuu~" The exposed skin. The skirt. The few curves he could see from behind the costume. It was all too much.

And, with jig being up, what was there to lose?

| | |

"Yuma-san, I don't think they're--" Before Yahiro could say anything else, however, one of them darted between his cousin's legs and tried to repeatedly bounce up into her skirt... sniffing each time? Each time it fell back down to the ground, it would also try to nibble and rub up against her legs as well. It was only then that Yahiro had to reconsider that, maybe, they were in fact demons. Little demons of... lust?

He turned to Kazai in disbelief.

Or were these... Digimon?

The memories came flooding back to him. The beta testing all those years ago. Kazai claiming they were real, and Yahiro dismissing her as crazy. But were these actually real-life... Botamon? He needed an explanation.

A cousin's accusation could not be more absurd. To think she would sleep with her own brother? Obviously she had more class than that and the accusation in and of itself was vulgar. She couldn't help other than to wonder if the question was rhetorical or sincere, but was a bit too disgusted to deny it should that require repeating it. But alas, there were even more pressing matters to attend to, such as the Botamon who had just revealed themselves.

"They aren't demons... they're Botamon," Kazai answered. She was familiar with those particular digimon, some of the most common in-training Digimon in the Digital World, at least from what Kazai could remember in the Digital World.

Kazai was much more oblivious to the Digimon's perverse actions toward her cousin. She was much more surprised to see Digimon in Japan after all this time. She'd seen them on her trip to America those couple years ago, but now Japan too? Or had they always been here and she just didn't notice them...? Unlikely.

"Why are they here though?" She asked aloud.

Yuma Kuramochi

"Bbbbuuuu!"

The jig was up, and all that was left was to defend oneself. That's what the (younger) Botamon felt. At least, that's what it felt at first. Despite staring at the seemingly formless humans before him, hidden by the bright light shining into his eyes, he found his brother less than taken back by them and instead charging into the fray. That's when he decided to join in only to find his brother doing more perverse things to a practically defenseless human.

It was all he could do to tackle his brother mid-air and tumbled back to the ground in an attempt to save this poor human.

"Botamon, you say?"

The girl turned around, less than worried about whatever it was that little demon was doing. Or, little Botamon. She barely noticed the two go careening to the floor like two black holes fusing together into a supermassive black hole. No, what seemed more important was that her cousin had some semblance of an idea of what these two were - which in itself was surprising, since the young girl barely ever showed any intelligence towards anything ever, as far as Yuma was concerned. Especially after her dad died.

"Sounds like something you'd be able to tell me. Pray tell, queen of degenerates, what is a Botamon?"
"Bu?"
